Check out some fun ideas to upcycle those plastic Easter eggs!
EASTER EGG SENSORY BIN
To set up this invitation to play you will need a box, shredded paper, plastic eggs, craft chicks, mini tongs and Easter basket. The shredded paper, plastic eggs and chicks can be found in most craft and discount shops.
You can add just about any Easter theme items to this Easter Sensory Box such as pompoms, empty egg cartons or foil to imitate the foil wrap around chocolate Easter eggs.

ALPHABET EGGS
Use a Sharpie to label each egg with a letter of the alphabet. Little ones can then practice their alphabet by putting them in order in two egg cartons. You can also teach upper case and lower case letters by writing them on the top and bottom pieces of the same egg, mixing them all up and having your child put them back together.

EASTER EGG BIRD FEEDER
1. Thread string through the hole in your plastic egg. Tie a knot at both ends.
2. Pull the strong into the egg so you can coat it without coating the string.
3. Coat the plastic egg in shortening, peanut butter or icing.
4. Roll the egg in the bird seed.
5. Once your egg is fully coated, pull out the string and head outside to hang it!

HIDDEN SURPRISE RICE KRISPIES
After preparing your Rice Krispies treat mixture, using greased hands, firmly press 1/4 cup of Rice Krispies mixture into each plastic egg half. Use fingers to make a hollow center in each half. Once the eggs have set, remove from the molds and place on wax paper. Place about six M&M's in each egg half. Gently press the two halves of each egg together until they stick. Let cool completely and decorate if desired.
